Poetry Slams are still held on Thursday evenings, sometimes even with a theme! We start gathering at 5:00 pm SLT, and generally get rolling soon after the quarter-hour. October is Recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month in America. Back in July 2008, the staff members of the Consulate were knocking about fund raising/awareness ideas, and the idea for a calendar came up. I have hung up my Conductor's hat, slept some twelve hours after the last event in Edison, and reviewed.

We tried to make the best of things, what with schedule delays and such. Besides those ignoring the deadlines and the Google calendar, and my misstep on Saturday evening (apologies again, Breezy!) there were very few issues.
